Purchased in March 2022, this FX4 Ranger was to replace my Holden VE Commodore which I had for 10 years. I was looking at a 4WD and was looking at a few different makes + models. After driving past the Ford yard in Warragul, I saw this FX4 Ranger. I had a look online that night and organised a test drive soon after.
I upgraded from my VE as it was getting a little older, it was time for an upgrade and wanted something a bit bigger for the family.
I wanted it with a canopy, which was arranged through ARB as a part of the purchase. This just makes it more practical to have an enclosed and weather-protected storage area. After consultation with some family members, I made sure I got all 3 windows as popups and got an air vent in the roof for when I have the dogs in the back.
I went with for FX4 model over some of the other ranger models available because it had the LED headlights, Leather interior, blackout exterior (bumper, grill and side steps) and the FX4 stitching with mats. It has a 3.2L 5 Speed Turbo Engine.
